Waiting list management

Checklist originally pioneered and developed the concepts of both the waiting list shape and urgency profiling. These concepts are still crucial to good waiting list management.

The waiting list shape shows how lists are being managed and how they could be managed without compromising clinical priorities. This is fundamental to Checklist’s ability to calculate waiting times.

Within Checklist we have a large urgency profiling database covering several thousand surgical procedures. This (together with the urgency profiling wizard) makes it possible to optimise waiting list management based on good clinical practice.
