18 week wait plan

We provide you with a complete plan for achieving the 18 week wait by December 2008. It will show you how much activity you need to do – year by year – by speciality. It will be separate out the recurring from the non-recurring activity and work out the knock-on effects of reducing the out patient waiting time – again year by year.

You will see how much capacity will be needed at specialty level so that you can check whether your existing providers can deliver this waiting time or not. If they cannot, it will show you what they can do and how much you will need to commission elsewhere.

The service includes a feedback session, re-working scenarios where necessary, and a final handover session.

If your deadlines are tight the plan can usually be completed in 5 working days or less.
