Checklist began in the
mid-1990s as a better way of negotiating between
NHS commissioners and hospital. We pioneered the
concept of the ‘waiting list
shape’, which allows better list management and
reductions in waiting times without compromising clinical
priorities. Since then, the model has expanded its
scope to include every aspect
of planning hospital services. It enables
everyone - hospitals, commissioners, healthcare policy-makers
- to see precisely what is happening to services, and
to save money by allocating resources in the best possible
way.
Our latest model, due out in the New
Year, includes
ground-breaking features such as the ability to compare
different scenarios side by side and to model alternative
care pathways.
Our team of support staff
all have very extensive experience of the NHS. All
have spent the majority of their working lives working
in or for the NHS in jobs ranging from front line clinical
services to IT departments. This means that they understand
all the problems and frustrations you experience in
providing and commissioning healthcare services.
They are on hand to give all the support that
you need, both to new and experienced users of Checklist,
whether it's getting going with using the model, advising
on large or small scale planning projects or demonstrating
its functions to clinical staff.
